Project Description:
This addition to the existing fuel system included the installation of 2 each – 400 GPM truck loading skids during a hot tie-in procedure using a Plidco coupling. As the Prime Contractor, the project included new parking for 10 refueler vehicles, secondary containment system for the site with a 10,000-gallon spill containment basin, an emergency shut-off system, a new CCTV system, and a 20,000-gallon factory-built underground oil-water separator tank. Upon completion of the new installation, the existing fuel load racks were demolished, the existing underground oil-water separator removed, and contaminated soil remediated.
