Project Description: 

This repair/modification project replaced an existing Type II pumphouse and hydrant system with a Type III pumphouse and hydrant loop. Talon demolished 7 each – control pits, 14 each – hydrant pits, and all associated underground piping.  Talon installed new 12” carbon steel jet fuel piping for a hydrant loop with 15 each – hydrant pits and upgraded the pumphouse to meet the Type III standard with 2,400 GPM capabilities. The project included setting a 4,000-gallon factory-built underground product recovery tank with appurtenances and installing piping for a hydrant cart test stand.
