Project Description: 

This new construction design build project was for a base vehicle maintenance facility. Talon set a total of four storage tanks (with appurtenance and catwalks) on the project including 2 each – 20,000-gallon factory-built aboveground storage tanks (ASTs) for JP-8, one 5,000-gallon AST for diesel, and one 1,000-gallon AST for gasoline. All underground piping was double wall pipe, with a leak detection system. Other work included the installation of 6 each – dispensers, 4 each – bulk loading stations, and the control equipment for the facility.
